BIG 3 ENGINES LLC Warranty

ENGINES:

Engines are guaranteed against rod knock, cracked block, and excessive smoking for the period described

on your invoice or notated with your order.

Any wear items that may be shipped with the engine that are not covered under the warranty are Manifolds, Turbos/superchargers, cables,

coils, filters, hoses, injectors, sensors, spark plugs, timing belt/chain, water pump, gaskets/seals, oil pumps, accessories

injection/supply pump, throttle body or wiring. Even if the wear items are shipped with the engine, they are not covered under warranty

because it is suggested that cables, coils, filters, hoses, injectors, sensors, spark plugs, gaskets/seals,

oil pump, timing belt/chain/tensioners/sprockets, water pump, injection/supply pump and wiring are replaced when you have the engine

installed. These items must be inspected by the installer and damage caused by failing to detect and replace any part

on the drivetrain or chassis, whether supplied by you or included with your order, will not be covered under warranty.

VVT/AFM/DOD/MDS type Engines experience accelerated wear to cams and lifters,

these are not covered under warranty and are considered

a wear item on these type of engines, we recommend VVT/AFM/DOD/MDS deletion wherever/whenever available and legal to do so.

Some used motors, especially from domestic manufacturers, tend to have broken exhaust manifold and sometimes

broken bolts present due to incongruenties in the type of material used in manufacturing of the cylinder

heads and manifolds, blocks, etc., this is not covered under warranty and these items may need repair before installation.

Cosmetic or wear conditions including superficial corrosion are typical with used parts and are not covered under

your warranty as these concerns do not typically affect the functionality of the part(s).

Warranty claims must be verified by a certified mechanic that it was properly installed.

TRANSMISSIONS:

Most transmissions are shipped without transmission fluid and a filter to ensure that you install a

new filter. Automatic transmissions must have the pan removed and a new filter and gasket installed.

The transmission cooler must be replaced with a new aftermarket cooler.

The transmission lines must be thoroughly flushed to remove all debris and contamination from

the previous transmission. A receipt must be produced to show that a new cooler has been purchased

and the fluid has been flushed from the lines using certified transmission flushing equipment including

proper disposal of the old fluid and proper installation of the new fluid and parts, seals, gaskets,

and other wear items, at a certified and qualified repair facility and performed by certified, and

qualified staff at said facility.

Use only the torque converter that was shipped with the transmission. The torque converter must

be checked to make sure it is lined up properly and reseated in case it shifted while in shipment.

Use only the manufacturer’s recommended fluid type that is listed in your owner’s manual.

If any sensors are shipped with the transmission they are not warrantied since it is recommended

that they be replaced.

The transmission must be programmed to you vehicle by a certified mechanic.

Warranty claims on the transmission will need to be verified by a certified mechanic that

the transmission was installed properly.

No labor warranty, shipping cost, or provision outside of replacement or repair

of your part, at our discretion, is included or implied with your purchase as it is not economically

viable to cover these costs due to the discount nature of our pricing structure and services.
